Bio

Terry has practiced as a physician assistant in dermatology since 2009, with expertise in both medical and cosmetic care. A native Houstonian, she graduated from the University of Houston in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She earned early admission to the Physician Assistant Studies program at UTMB Galveston, where she completed her master’s degree, and she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Terry leads the Houston Derm PA/PA Society and serves as a committee chair on the Diversity in Dermatology Board.

Passionate about medical dermatology, Terry focuses on managing inflammatory skin diseases and has lectured nationally on psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis. Her special interests include acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin of color, and skin malignancies. She is also skilled in cosmetic procedures, including dermal fillers, Dysport, and Botox injections.

Outside the clinic, Terry enjoys spending time with her husband and two children—often cheering them on at extracurricular activities—and exploring Houston’s vibrant restaurant scene. She was recently honored as President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Texas Society of Dermatology Professional Associates for the 2024–2026 term. In this role, she supports members by organizing educational events, workshops, and networking opportunities that foster professional growth and connection.
