Cindy Sershen, DNP, DCNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified dermatology nurse practitioner. She has practiced dermatology since completing a dermatology fellowship in 2011 and currently cares for patients at Lahey Hospital locations in Burlington, Lexington, and Peabody, Massachusetts. Cindy earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts in 2025, focusing her doctoral project on improving affirming care for LGBTQ+ patients.
As clinical faculty for the Lahey Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Training Program, she precepts and mentors fellows and frequently lectures. She has worked with diverse populations across community health centers and in global health settings and provides care in both English and Spanish. Her clinical interests include acne, hair loss, skin of color, transgender care, and advancing equitable, inclusive dermatologic care for all.
Outside the clinic, Cindy enjoys going to concerts and running.
